We know the value of employment to an individual’s health and wellbeing and our Employment Services team is focused on making a difference in peoples’ lives who are returning to work in either a paid or voluntary capacity.
Whether an individual is looking for work because they can no longer do their previous job or they are seeking a new career direction, our team has a wealth of experience and expertise to offer.
An important step in the Return-to-Work journey for an injured worker or service veteran who wants to transition from defence to civilian work, is participating in a Work Trial Program. Participating in this program is FREE to the employer and our team matches employers, large and small, with highly skilled and motivated individuals. Work Trials really can be a win, win. They can change someone’s life.
Our team also assists clients with finding work; from knowing where to start, to assessing the current labour market needs, to helping clients understand and align their skills or mapping out their next career or study goal.
Further employment and career support is also provided by our Rehabilitation Consultants who perform vocational assessments and offer vocational counselling.
Our team is also leading a pilot program, Life in Focus that supports veterans’ families who are 15-25yo with wellness and career guidance. Need more information?
