It was great to see the City of Mandurah being recognised for their innovative project, Prepare the Peel. It has been wonderful working with the City of Mandurah, in particular Myra and Sam from the Emergency Management Team, who have been very supportive of our Defence Force veterans.
The City of Mandurah have been working around the clock to assist develop a range of resources for the Peel Tourism sector assisting to raise emergency preparedness, encouraging visitors to access free emergency mobile apps. These resources are very informative and beneficial to people who visit Australia.
Myra has been integral in being a quality source of connection between us, our clients and local community opportunities. She is continuing her working partnership with us to provide opportunities for other ex-defence clients where an opportunity is identified and there is a good match for our clients. This support greatly assists us to make a difference in the lives of our clients who are so motivated for a successful transition from serving Australia to working into civilian workplaces.
